people on this website only like gay people in theory. y’all like the gay aesthetics. but you don’t actually like gay people. too many of you believe that gay people’s homosexuality is some unnatural fetish that they need to unlearn so that they can be “normal” like the rest of you “open-minded” folks (which literally just means being attracted to the opposite sex). you think that gay people need to assure you, time and time again, that they’re “good allies” and they’ll stop that nasty homosexual business in order to prove to you that they’re good allies. there have literally been posts on this website telling gay people that they shouldn’t have public displays of affection at pride festivals because it makes some people uncomfortable (btw, being “uncomfortable” by gay people’s displays of love with each other is called homophobia). countless times you’ll see posts with thousands of notes telling gay people that they need to examine why they aren’t attracted to the opposite sex and (always unsaid, but always implied) fix that biological defect because they make other people feel excluded. there are literally people who sit on social media telling gay people that gays are “the straight people of the LGBT community”.

y’all do not like gay people as much as you’ve all convinced yourselves you do. you just learned to disguise your hatred of gay people. but even if you spray paint cow shit pink, it’s still cow shit.

Watching an SNL clip where Michael Che says he doesn’t understand why we even need the word “feminism” because a feminist is “a person who believes in equality” really struck a chord and reminded me of how fucking useless liberals have made feminism. Nobody can understand why we need it anymore because you spineless little pissants have watered it down to something so vague and easy that men who actively harm women can say fucking they’re feminists.

i saw a video of a woman saying feminism is evolving to stop focusing on only women, because so many groups are oppressed and they need to address that… once again women are expected to prioritize everyone, including our oppressors in our own movement about being liberated from them.
